V-model
The V-model is a software development life cycle, which is a refinement of the classical waterfall model.
In the V-model, development takes place in the form of an occurring "V" - product development and testing take place in parallel, and each testing phase is aimed at verifying the corresponding stage of development.

The methodology emphasizes testing, which takes place at each stage of the lifecycle. Thus, an error can be detected and corrected early in the development process, which reduces the risks and costs of correcting errors at later stages.
We recommend V-model for any projects, which imply fixed scoping and require strict quality and security management: database management systems, medical devices, access control systems, and other projects, where security and reliability are critical.
The advantages of this model are quality, standards compliance, and fixed timelines and budgets at each stage.
The disadvantages of the V-model are the cost, the rigid fixation of requirements at the initial stages of the project and the inability to react quickly and flexibly to changes in requirements. Also, the model does not take into account the need for intermediate releases and customer feedback during development.
